Been around but new here.
I haven't been on any Ford sites in years, didn't have the time. I recently finished the last project that belonged to someone else and I'm now finding time to work on my own stuff. Big blocking the '03 will be next on my to do list. I'm planning to do the 2013 Drag Week but since the '03 won't be done that soon I'll have to allow time to freshen up the '85 so I can take it. I'm glad to have found this site and I see some familiar user names. I'm also looking forward to see what everyone is working on. Lee

Rick,
It's good to hear from you. I should be around regularly now. I just finished a '69 Mach 1 resto, that I was working on since '06, and now I have time to play.
Believe it or not my boy turned 15 a couple months ago, no idea where the time went. I think he woulda only have been 9 or 10 when we met you at the Fun Ford Weekend.
I'm probably in the paint business for life. I don't mind getting up and going to work at all so I'm not gonna change a thing.
dfree,
are you still in the 'Burgh or is that just where you started before going everywhere?

Re: Been around but new here.
Mark,
Good to hear from you. I didn't know about the Norwalk race. I haven't paid too much attention to their schedule yet. Drag Week is the one I'm wanting to see. The date hasn't ever changed but track locations haven't been released yet. I'm sure I'll be able to get to Thompson now, still never been there.
Did you get the instant message I sent you a few days ago? I sent a couple paragraphs worth of rambling but don't have any record of it in my sent message folder. Also, can't remember which site it was from, may have been the other one.

Thanks for the compliment. Having people ask "This isn't original... is it?" is what I was aiming for. The car has been a lotta fun.
