As a follow-up to what Nick has linked you too, here is the link for the 3040 Hp dyno session.. http://www.dragzine.com/news/video-3000-horespower-twin-turbo-big-block-ford-dyno-run/
What is interesting to me is, that's what TFS A-460 18-bolt heads are capable of. I did my CNC porting program on Steve Ashe's heads and we still used the 2.350" intakes and 1.880" exhausts. I flow tested every port and they are basically 460 cfm @ .800" on the intakes and 323 cfm @ .800" on the exhausts, without a test pipe.
I talked to Steve Ashe this morning and he said that he's gone 8.40's @ 192 mph on radial tires in that car with a leaf spring rear suspension. Talk about BALLS They've only got about 8 passes on the thing, and are having convertor issues which also killed the thrust bearing in the block. So they are still working out the new car bugs. Keep up the good work Steve
