newb from washington with a 64 comet

hi im scooter from washington and im building a 1964 comet 2dr post. i was planning on straight axle'n the car and putting in a 460. tossing around ideas of a stroker but still unsure. may just go built 460. i am not new to the hobby but am new to ford stuff. been a gm guy all my life, but never was a "hater" of other brands everybody made something cool.
