quality of cheep electronic distributors
been shopping for a new electronic dist.there are a few out there that are under $100. some are the old gm hei style with the coil under the cap & some are the ford style that use a sperate coil. they look to be machined well, some have quality caps. I just dont know how good the electrical componetes are.Anyone out there have any feedback? I realy dont want to have to spend $300. on a mallory,acell/msd if I dont have to.

Parts store Duraspark with a recurve........ Better than any of the Chinese BS.
No big deal recurving it your self.
Change the Box connector out for a MSD one and you can run a MSD box with it too.

MSD actually makes an adapter from the duraspark connecter straight to the MSD..

Some of the cheap ones work great and some of that same brand will screw-up or not work at all.
Are you a gambler...?
Re: quality of cheep electronic distributors
