Seen one those get away from a young finisher at work and it come around and shattered his pelvis, so I can see why noone wants to grab it. Half the time the throttle controls and kill switch on the handle breaks within a month of being new and noone ever fixes them so you have reach down and control the throttle or kill switch right on the engine.

Kind of same thing happened to me years ago when I worked at an apartment complex, shampooing the carpets and it got away. Luckily it didn't hit anything, spin around until cord was wrapped up and it unplugged itself.
