Connecting rod length theroy...... - Page 2 Empty NHRA Pro Stock Rod Ratios

Post  mkopmani February 26th 2013, 10:01 pm

The individual I interface with runs the Pro Stock NHRA circuit full-time. Rod ratio is in the 1.50 range.

Remember that deck heights are in the 9.400" neighborhood - no room for a long rod. Rods are Carrillo steel, NASCAR rod bearing, small block Mopar mains.

The 'cup' stuff was/is at 2.00" for the main bearings...I aint got no idea what a small mopar is. When the Ford stuff went to the 302 2.250" main I thought that was small...shows what I know Laughing
