Accelerator Help,
I was able to get the Trans Blanket on, now I trying to get the Flex plate shield on, it the one piece about 3-1/2" wide and bolts to the front of the trans in about 4 spots, now my throttle arm that comes up in front of the fire wall that connects to the carburetor rod. I need a good floor mount cable gas pedal or any and all help to my problem. Thanks Melvin,

Re: Accelerator Help,
Thanks maverick, the base mounted dragster throttle pedal look great, going to look into it, Also going to look at my current set up to see if I can modified it. Maybe move to the left than the right again.

Re: Accelerator Help,
Is there any rules against the accelerator linkage arm in full throttle position going back into a opening cut for it in the fire wall?

OK Stupid ? Was having brain freeze there for a minute. Got it done and it is sturdy and tight, not a big fan of cable set ups. What I did was mount the OEM pedal on the inside of the fire wall and will be running the throttle linkage threw the fire wall to the carburetor. Some modification had to be done, cut and weld but not unlike the rest of the car.
