WHERE ARE ALL THE STILETTO RACKS?

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN 20 DEGREE STILETTO RACK AND PINIONS WILL BE BUILT? TEAMZ AS WELL
AS OTHER COMPANYS ARE ON HOLD WAITING FOR UNFILLED ORDERS. MAYBE IF PEOPLE GET TOGETHER AND
E-MAIL THE COMPANY THAT SUPPLIES THE RACKS THE PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED! IN THE MEAN TIME DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON A RACK DESIGN THAT CAN BE MODIFIED TO EXCEPT CLEVIS ENDS TO TAKE TO
PLACE OF THE STILETTO? I WANT TO USE A TEAMZ OUTLAW K-MEMBER WITH MY 598 DRY SUMP FOXBODY
DRAG BUILD AND NEED THE PROJECT TO START MOVING. THE RACE SEASON IS SHORT IN THE NORTHEAST..

I know what you mean. My car is sitting here waiting on the rack too. I've called Prowerks but since I'm not a dealer they didn't even want to speak to me. They did say that they are being overloaded with calls about this.

that's the easy part. we've used both. the bad part about this deal is that some of us have our k-members so far forward that the angles will not work with either you mentioned even if the ends were clevis ends. the internal mechanisms just aren't good enough. when they pull straight they are fine.

they still will not speak with me or anyone else around here. I know Dave Z and Rick J are just as frustrated by talking to them on the phone.

Some of the aftermarket Pinto racks I have used have a center shaft that's made of a fairly soft material on the ends (away from the heat treating on the shaft teeth). Couldn't you unscrew the knuckels from the ends of the center shaft, cut off the threaded spuds from the ends of the center shaft that the knuckels thread onto, and then drill/tap the ends of the center shaft for rod-ends & jam nuts? This would also allow you to change/adjust the rack's center shaft width to whatever length needed to better workout any bumpsteer that might show up with a rack that's moved foward a bunch.
