PM's Disappearing Empty PM's Disappearing

I've had a few PM's in the last couple of days disappear. Is that only happening to me or am I doing something wrong. I haven't deleted them. I was going back to answer some today in detail and they're gone.

About a month ago I would get email notifications that I had pm's and there wouldn't be any when I logged on here. Hadn't happened in awhile though.
