wanting to turbo my 1990 f-150 efi 460

want to turbo this truck on a low budget. daily driver plus i mud race it any advise would be great

turbos and low budget dont really go together.......

yes i do understand ,,i have built several toys and toys & low budget dont go together , im looking to do this on used parts like a powerstroke turbo..but i turn 6500rpm not sure if a stroker turbo is going to work...i was thinking about 8lbs poss10lbs

what kind of budget are you thinking?

well i have the turbo but not sure what all i will need for the computer, prob maf sensor and plumbing..so to answer question on how much for a budget we all know if we think it can be done with 2k plan on 4k i know how these builds go

dont think that turbo will be big enough.

lol I aint a turbo guy, a powerstroke guy yes...... some more educated in this sorta thing will be along soon.

well i thank you for your input.. all though i kinda figured it was too small i needed the info from an outside point of view...that means i will need to purchase 3 new turbos for i have a cummins in my 1994 crew cab ford that i am going to twin, more for low egts but also for power

man thats almost as bad as putting a bbc in you f150 ......

hahahah now that would never happen..price was right plus with the old 460 that was in it had a window in the side...i wanted a 7.3 but $to$ it was cheaper easier and better on fuel than the other option. plus if i was to bring home another truck my wife would make me sign some papers..so if you already have it tweek it ..
