552 p-51 vs 604 p-51

I found a great deal on a A460 block that I'm going to use my top end on and build a new combo. The cam is 824in 792ex 285in 300ex @ 50. I wanna get as much compression as I can and still spray

The torque will increase, but at a lower rpm, HP will be up also.

Well how much compression can I get away with and still spray

Yeah I talked to roger at Kasse and they say my max rpm will be about 6500

I'm in the same boat....Won't be needin a 10,000 rpm tach for a while...

i have 14.1 and shoot 275 , dont have any problems

Yep I think I will go with that 14:1 and hit it with about 250 and hope the 28 inch tire hook up

I wonder what it will run on motor with nitrous conv and cam

I spin my 572 P-51 to 7500 no problem

How heavy? I spray a 200 on a 16:1 motor, no problems so far as I go some cometic head gaskets from Lem, and torque the ARP head studs to 130 ft lbs.

My car is 2860 w driver

I run high 5.80s and low 90s with a nitrous converter, and a 3240 pnd car. sell me the cam you have .

What lobe sep was this cam Larry

motor runs, its all in the car now gotta build wheelie bars, set toe on front end, rescale etc........its close, sounds mean lol.
