Alright, I'm sold. (pics and vid)

I joined up to do some research before deciding to go with a BBF. I went ahead and picked up a D1VE with D3VE A2A heads. Initial plans are for a 545 with A460's, Victor, ProSystems Dominator, Solid Roller, and back it with a powerglide. I already have a car that works with all TeamZ suspension so I hope I can just tune the chassis I have. Here's some pics and a video of my junk with the 347. Now be prepared for all of the questions I'll be having during the build.

why a CI cam ? he has proved nothing the cam guru's on here are far better from what I have seen..... and they know what they can do ....

Hey man, nice rig and my favorite color too. Ive run at clarksville a couple of times but its been 2 years ago (the shutdown area is not my favorite). I saw those houses in the backround and thought it looked like clarksvegas and then I saw your sig.

Not a slight to the cam guys here. Being new, I didn't know there was a cam guru here. Jay's stuff has worked wonders on my current set up.

There are several BBF Specialist when it deals with Custom Cam grinding i.e. Lem Evans, Blake Cartwright, The Mad Porter, Randy Malik just to name a few. IMO you would be time and money ahead getting one of these guys to get you a custom ground cam for you BBF Application.

The Custom Roller in my 534 is what I call "Albert Clark Bad Attitude Series Roller" designed by Lem and Blake

Damon I am curious how good or bad his CI cam will be from what I have heard Jay built the TFS A460 heads.... time will tell.... Curious minds want to know.....

Bruno.... Jay Allen has professed himself a Cam God...... he thinks highly of himself if you don't believe me just ask him... I really want this guy to use one of his camshafts I want to see what he does in real life, but to run one of his cams it has to be total secret spec's.....

We know what Lem and the other guy's on here can do, I am curious to see what he can or can't do..... I would never buy one just curiosity has me wondering.....

I know my combo is way from Optimal but still cleared 800 but that's not bad for my cam being under 700 lift......

Aaron I and other would like to see what you can do with His camsaft, it is not a cam pissing contest..... Reality is what we are looking for, if you like Jay as a friend that's your purgative, if you have a dedication to him fine, we would just like to see real life figures on how it performs....... My feeling to him is clear, I ask him a few questions and he went off like a lit bomb, I was banned from His Shyt hole over at SBF cuz I said he had Bogus #on head porting.... when the exhaust is 10 to 20 cfm less than the Intake something is way Wrong.. and I questioned him about it and got banned. So F@%* Um.... and yes thats the way I feel....


But I really am curious how your engine runs with one of his cams so please do it.....

Welcome to the site. I have been down that strip a few times myself . I have not been racing there in a while , but Blake and I tested there last summer on a wed night. Here is some video's check out Blakes 1/8 mile tire squall lol.
