I know the cops and stuff was all bs and scripted but the races were all real, the list needs an "update". lol

On a sad note the guy w the elcamino "Flip" comitted suicide either last night or early this morning. I never met the guy but felt I knew him from all his posts on MWSC and the way all his friends talked about him.

Not sure why he did it........ but with all those guys on cloud 9 with the show about to debut there is a great great sorrow on the forum today.

Rough deal for sure. We've lost a few on Chitown as well. Most recently a great guy with a young family. Bad bike accident almost right in front of his house.

I've never understood why people kill themselves....Darn shame........The family will never be the same.

staged reality tv at it's best. just one more tv show that will give drag racing a bad name. people that don't know drag racing, will think this is how it's done. it's not an illegal street race when you have the cops blocking off the streets.

Not that impressive for the ten fastest cars in the world. Looks like Chicago circa 1998. Your only about 15 years behind. And I wanted someone to punch that Chuck guy. Someone woulda shot him up here. Nobody races for 5k. Serious guys don't have day jobs. They don't need them.

It was pretty entertaining to watch (and brought back memories of street racing 25 years ago)...what I expected at least. I'll watch it again.
