Whitefield..finished my carbon fiber air pan
$130 worth of materials. 6 hours labor not counting making the original which I used for a mold. I think it came out ok for my first time. I learned a few things and look forward to making some more stuff.
NOW... $130 and labor didn't equal enough weight saved or anything to really be worth it but I'd rather try this versus something structural. As long as it doesn't melt from the heat or anything, I'm completely pleased...No, I didn't weight the aluminum and CF one.

Thanks guys, Looking to experiment with some other stuff...dash cover, trunk floor, trans tunnel, front spoiler and valance, console for time slips and stuff, gauge panel,...what else????? I have some buddies already wanting T-tops and a scoop.
