Is a ute the same as a Mustang?

A big block should fit physically since the engine bay is the same as a BA and the Boss 260 is a wider engine than a 460. There would be a fair bit of fabrication with engine and transmission mounts. Extractors may need to be custom too.

To be legal as far as pollution laws go, it would only be legal on straight LPG.

What state are you in? A swap like this isn't allowed in some states.

I think I see where you're going but Aussie Falcons (utes included) are quite unique in the Ford world as far as chassis design goes. I doubt any Mustang swap kit would work.

The AU model ran from 1998 to 2002.

They are the better looking version of what chevy called the elcamino. They still make in Australia. In your year I think it would be quite alot of modification to get 460 in, but nothing is impossible if you have time & money! post a pic
