Fixed caster camber plates on a Fox Mustang... What lower arms to use?
Guys,
I've got a set of fixed C/C plates from SKRC on my Fox and am using a set of QA1 adjustable lower arms. I have the rod ends screwed all the way in and the front tires are still angled out up front. Any ideas?
What other arm options are out there? I'm about to chuck them in the chopsaw and take about 1/2" off and try again...

Huh? That doesn't make sense. I can't find my protractor to measure the camber. I also noticed that the driver front tire is further out of the wheel well than the pass tire.
I'll get some pics. It's not too bad but it's noticeable.

I guess I don't understand what you're saying. If its just the darn steering then make sure you have the rack even lock to lock. If it is still pushing the tires out too much then yes you will have to take some of the threads off. I thought you were talking about wheel alignment earlier.
When you post pics it will be easier to see I guess.

It's a camber issue. The bottom of the tires are angled out farther than the top. When I bought the plates I was told to use these arms.
Are the arms for a Fox and a SN95 different in length? Maybe I have the wrong arms?

i'm thinking the sn95 is longer. you can get adjustment at the 2 lower strut bolts much easier than the top mount. slot the top bolt hole a little and get a LOT.jbozzelle wrote:It's a camber issue.
