does mallory make a external 2 step i can wire into the mallory 6AL box

If you mean MSD 6AL you can use a MSD 8739.

I have one sitting in my garage that I am not using. PM me if interested.

I would give them a call most of their boxes are advertised as upgradeable.

Mallory makes a 6AL box as well as MSD.
