460 newbie
Hi guys hello from the uk, I've got an 81 E350 RV , running a 460 big block, I'm going to pull the engine and trans due to the massive fuel costs over here, the engine and trans are going into a 1990 escort drag car, then a cummins b series fitted to the E350, can anyone recommend mods to give me around 500 bhp? Cheers in advance

Thanks Bruno just found that page, the little escort should be an animal, it's not the first front wheel drive I've converted to rwd, the last was an 83 escort van running 511hp of cops worth turbo power with nos on pump gas, what a ride that was lol

Hi no it's an all new build, it was a 1990 ecsort 1.3 bonus, one owner from new 47,000 on the clock, looking to build a space frame chassis, ford 9" rear end, custom front possibly go mustang front set up, unless I go mk2 escort coil overs , not decided yet :-)

Re: 460 newbie
Cool. you wont have any problem getting an easy 500 from one of these motors and the torque to go with it.

That's what I'm looking for, a street legal straight line missile lol, any of you guys run on avgas, I can get it from my local small airfield, it's 110ron with lead, that's should spice it up a bit , should run cooler with lead in it,
