Another new Texan
Hey all! New guy from southeast Texas. I'm the local ford bronco nut. I just swapped my third bronco for a 1991 (7/91) F350 4x4 460 efi. I wound up parting it out and keeping the motor.
Here's the plan. I want to carb the 460 and put it in a custom 2wd bronco. I've got a cracked head so my plan is to buy new to me heads from an earlier carbed model.
I'm new to the 460 and this will be my first ever engine build. I want this to be a very very mild street build with a budget.
I'm a little overwhelmed as to where I should even begin, or how I should build this motor, so any and all help is appreciated! Thanks all and I look forward to being in the forum!

Welcome! I've always thought it would be cool to do a 2wd full size bronco slammed. What's your plans for the front end? I beams from a 2wd truck or what? What model bronco are you using?

I prefer 81-86 model since I done have one yet and just use a 2wd front end, but I've also read about using a van front end. I've been following "mrcube" on YouTube and love seeing a FSB do a wheelie. Although this will be a very very mild build lol.

Thank you. I sure will. It's going to be a painstakingly slow build though lol. I haven't even found heads for the block yet.
