depends on the balancer manufacture and whos crankshaft.

Some balancers require a hone to fit properly.

I am assembling a old pro stock 810 c.i. engine. the crank is 6" stroke, Bryant with 351c snout. just trying to find out if a stock 460 balancer will work as i do not have one ????? will never turn over 4000 rpm, as i am installing in restored 69 F100 with a c6 trany. also what is the lest ratio i can get for a 9" ford rear gear, would like to have a

I'd have a balancer built for it. Those long stroke engines move around a whole lot and have totaly different frequencies the OEM motors.

Talk with ATI or Innovators West.

looked at Innovators West web site & informed that a internal balanced engine the correct word is damper, not balancer. Thanks guys.
