got the wife a new car ....new ford 6spd auto is very weird driving

well ...


just got new house , wife needs a new car . I work for depuy synthes Johnson&Johnson orthopedics as a machnist . The same company johnson & johnson in new jersey that does baby products as well ,we do medical implants in this division .

well working there i get through ford what is called the X plan ....so i saved a little bit of money off the car

we got this Ford Fiesta for 12,600 $ 4 door trunk gets 33 mpg city 40 on highway
power windows ect

wife travels 20 miles each way to work so 40 total more some days .


All i can say is not a bad little car , i mean you dont get much for that kind of money but that 6spd auto in the 4cyl is very odd ...it shifts so much , prob perfectly fine just to me very odd at first .

We ended up keeping the Acura mdx she has highmiles but i will split drive that with my f350 diesel

Yep , The Taurus must have the same tranny. I'm not used to the thing shifting all the time. My new F150 is a little better but it shutters a little from in 1st gear... Gonna keep an eye on it.

I bought the wife this last week.....
