You guys need to come on down to this race if you can . I have been hearing rumors that George and Wes are still after each other and would rather whoop on each other than the chevys Smile

Might get to see a rematch .

Nice grandstands and you can park your truck and set in the back of it on the spectator side if you like

I'm more interest in the big $ race this weekend. I've talked to Bobby Small and he has a conflict this weekend....I'm not sure about Phillip's situation.

That weekend, (June 22) is the Jegs Quick 32 race at Crossroads Dragway (Terre Haute), so Bobby, Kristina, Scott, James and others will have to be there. However, it is a good possibility that Jack's Mustang can go to Beacon Dragway. I'll mention it to Jack and Mark,,,and try to convince them to do so.

This weekend,(June 7, 8 & 9), most of us will be at Route 66 in Joliet for the NNRA Div 3 race, where they will be running Top Dragster and Top Sportsman.

Cool, yes there is best western about 5 miles from the track exit 11 on i 24 in paducah 270 443 2323. There is also a camp ground right across the road from the track you guys are welcome to use our rv there or at my place if that will help you out . If you guys want to come up thursday night they have test n tune , jeff might let ya stay at the track not sure i can ask him. I am only 12 miles from the track so not a big road trip either way.

Randy,

Mark has a Cat powered motor home with slide-outs, and a triple axle trailer deal,,, so he would be staying there at the track. Please tell us more about the $10,000 Grudge Race?

The 10k grudge race is between Randy Thomas's mustang and Keith 's copo camaro. They made that bet when the track was under construction. Thats just between them the track is not putting that up. As far as i know the bracket race is regular purse, but racers can have grudge races of their own.

Randy,

I just talked to Mark. June 22 is the special Div 3 Top Dragster / Top Sportsman race at Ohio Valley. So we really have a schedule conflict. Krisse won this race last year in T/D, but she is going to Crossroads (Terre Haute) for the Jegs Quick 32 race this year.

Meanwhile, Mark is taking Jack's Mustang to Ohio Valley for the T/Sportsman race. I would assume, (and you know what that means), that Cheyenne will be there with his Mustang also.

FYI, ADRL race at Gateway on June 15.

Don't worry about me Rick. I've been practicing for the HRR every night this week.Been pretty humid and had to pull the gas tank on the motorhome and fix a leak,now got Tweetybird in the shop checking it out and the oil pan gasket has to be replaced,so the CL is tasting pretty good cheers

That fellow said he wanted to meet you because everytime he goes up that way he gets arrested and accused of having a Hobbs alias Laughing

Bring them fords on down guys , they are going to run chevy vs chevy and ford vs ford as long as possible to get a ford /chevy final.

It sounds bad at first ,but if you think about it , it will reduce both brands by half. I imagine the chevy guys will really not like it, kinda like a dragster run dragster and door car run door car race , the dragsters always hate it. Thats the only way to insure a ford / chevy final and you have to win to get there reguardless of who you run.
