Proportioning Valves and brake lines
Need some recommendations on a proportioning valve for my 95 150 build. This will be strictly a drag truck and will be disc front and rear. It looks like 3 basic types. fixed f/r and adjustable f/r and single
Fixed;

Adjustable;

Single;

Also, what size brake lines should I run? I believe the stock ones were 3/16 (or the metric equiv.).

That single should do fine.
3/16 is fine for the line
3/16 is fine for the line

I'd do an adjustable one if your replacing the factory part.

When your running slicks at the track you can run a ton more bias to the rear brakes. The adjustable ones are nice for that.

Re: Proportioning Valves and brake lines
That is some good info, thank you! Here everything I was reading was telling me to put the portioning valve on the rear line but with the skinny fronts, it makes sense to put more bias to the rear.
Re: Proportioning Valves and brake lines
I put mine on the rear brake line, and mounted it to the left of the drivers seat with the adjustment knob coming through the floor. I can adjust it on the fly.
