pro systems carbs

Getting ready to order a new carb from Patrick he is reccomending a 1600 cfm sv1 I've seen where they don't make as much power as a tradional 1600cfm carb? U guys have any input?

give Phillip a call about a carb ... hea can get you set up with a piece that will perform well right out of the box

Both will do you right. I've use 8 Prosystem carbs and all have been great!

I've got a Brand new Alky SV-1 that I would make you a good deal on. Just started engine w/it. Throttle response is UNbelieveable. Won't need it If I sell engine. Setup for 557 A head w/14.5 comp.

Oh yeah I've heard of them a lot of guys down south use his carbs in mud racing. I'll give him a call and see what he has to say.

Boy I don't know about quick fuel called them this morning and their customer service isn't very good. Asked about a carb and they said how much money u wanna spend? Asked them what carb would be best for my set up and they said again how much money u wanna spend. They didn't really act like they was real interested in getting the best carb for my combination?

Oh Phillip is out this week so I didn't talk to him.

Phillip Oakley does not work for/at QFT.....he is a dealer/tuner of those carbs. Please see the Oakley Motorsports crawler at the top of the page.
 
QFT does have two Phillips that work there but neither is the Phillip that Bruno referred you to.

PS The guys at Quick Fuel are a bunch of great guys too, they are a bunch of racers too. Don't take the guys comments negatively, hes was being realistic with you, knowing your budget can help him find the right product also, because the best can be very very expensive.

I agree but after building the motor and not sparing any expense y would I do it now.

Its cool Bruno what was the odds of me calling quick fuel direct and them having a sales guy with the name Phillip also...lol
