Hi Guys

I am looking for an intake for a set of a460 high port heads to take a 14-71 blower.

they don't make one.

You will have to cut up an a-head tunnel ram. Hampton has them made already.
or intake spacers and use a bluethunder blower intake. Charlie Evans has done this already.

The CJ intake ADAPTERS (not spacers) are available here, http://www.pricemotorsport.com/html/body_ap-11__intake_adapter_kit.html
from Price Motorsports.

The CJ blower intake manifold is available from any Blue Thunder dealer such as Survival Motorsports, Mattingly Machine, or Engine Systems.

Good point Dave. I read about the Blue Thunder intake and it says it will take an 8-71. It looks like the base could be machined to take a 12-71 possibly,,,,,but not a 14-71.

Looks like he's going to need a modified and fabbed TFS tunnel ram intake manifold.

there is never an easy option when you play with something different is there, thanks for the info guys.
I will talk to about the CJ intake just to be sure but I think your probably right.

When you get this worked out let me know what you did. I will be to that point in a few months.I don't like the idea of spacers to seal in boost pressure, or I would go that way. Thanks

is there a difference in the a460 heads? the guy I bought these from told they were high port heads and not the standard a460.
They are also the 10 bolt head

Yes there are differences in A-460 heads. What brand of head do you have? Any picutres?

Hi Charlie,

They are TFSA460 with BBF-1, on the front of the head it has Trick Flow A460 with a small a373a at the bottom.

Will the BT manifold work with a 14-71?

My 14-71 Mooneyham works on my blue thunder manifold.

Call Don Hampton also.... He is the owner of Hampton Superchargers, will speak to you himself, he has been there done that on every engine application you can think of..

Not saying the folks around here can't help, just another GREAT source of contact..
