Lost our pops last night.......

Wow! First our mom back in Feb, and now our dad passed away last night... I know it is pretty common for some couples to go close together when they've been together for so long... Just sucks! That's all...

Sorry to heard about your Dad ,Doug . Our prayers are with you and your family ! I'm trying to deal with that, I'm going to be loosing my best buddy of over 40 years , Gordy Thom aka" Pinski" my hunting and fishing partner and all around " Best Friend" just got diagnosed with cancer on the spine ! They give him 6 months at the most!

Thanks guys... It really means alot... I stayed home from work today, and probably will again tomorrow ... You know, it was alot easier to deal with when mom passed, but I guess she just didn't have the same affect as dad did... Don't get me wrong, mom taught us plenty, but dad gave me the guidance needed to be doing what I do with the motorsports and the engine building etc... It's just so hard right now to get my mind around the idea that he's just not gonna be there now...

He would always ask about what I was working on lately... The last time I talked to him, he was talking to me like he was doing it right next to me, then two min later he'd look at me like he didn't have a clue what I was talking about... I knew it was coming to an end, but we never expect it when it arrives... This just FREAKIN SUCKS!!

I have to go for now...
