Hi everyone finally a very cool site just on bbf.I am building a A460 headed 598 for n/a heads up racing in British columbia Canada and can see myself spending countless hours on this site.Right now i have a 513 with strip/street tfs heads and makes 810hp n/a and would love to make 1000 plus hp.

1000 horsepower shouldn't be a problem with a 598" A head combo. Welcome aboard.

I was told by Brian from total engine airflow that my heads are holding it back they are street/strip tfs out of the box unported and if i wanted more power i should send them to him to cnc port them. I decided not to seeing that i am starting a 598 with A460 and will send him the new heads to get maxed out.

what does the car weigh? 800hp in a 3200 should get you in the low 9'30's to 9.40's

Car is 3400 with a heavy c6 which is going and a glide is going in for next season

For 1000 hp the A head is the right choice, will make the switch myself here one day soon.

dude, that car is bad to the bone ... got any more specs, like cam, convertor, gear, etc?

its cheater tubbed with ladder bar coil over 29.5X10.5W and i had my friend alf wiebe graft in a fox body mustang front tubular k-member strut set up and it works great.The car is still street driven in the summer. 9"diff,35 spline axles,spool,4.30 gears and 1.32 60'.I have owned the car for 24 years

I built my own foxbody type type strut front end for my 69, works awesome as well. Would love to see some pics of your car.............

Nice...that is something similar to what I want to do. Do you have stock frame rails? Have any pics of that?
