I dont like the button on the shifter handle myself, most of the buttons the shifters use are cheap anyway.

Re: shifter
There it is! I had to go to photo bucket to see it. For some reason the right side of the pic was cut off...

ProBandit. I use a little microswitch from Radio Shack for the transbrake...real light touch.

Re: shifter
wire the clapper to a switch and you're done. You just need one more hand. That would be funny to watch though.Dave C. wrote:Clap on Clap off ftw.

Re: shifter
I got a pro ratchet never had any problems out of it I had it for about 4 years going to change the gates for the pg pattern going to put the trans brake button on the back side of the cover. So when I use the trans brake just reach over the top and push the button so when I shift I want be worry about hitting it, I don't want it on the steering wheel.pigs521bbf wrote:has anyone have any issues with B&M pro ratchet shifter?

Re: shifter
Precision Performance Products makes a damn nice shifter. Real thin & light weight. Available in both front and rear exit cable models so you don't have to turn a conventional front exit shifter ass-backwards for better cable angles/less cable binding that can happen in some car chassis designs-layouts.

Re: shifter
x2 for the Precision Product shifter. We run them in both of our Probes. One is a PH and the the other is a TH400. they make a nice button for the side of the stick that can be a Line lock or Transbrake
