If you have an A460 block with the long cylinders it will not matter.

I'm going to fix my stock block motor for a back up. So new rods are a must but just wondering which would be better.

If it's a back up engine I'd probably try to buy some used ones and not worry about the length.

On a drag race only engine I do not think it's that critical of a deal......if a guy was gonna do a lot of street miles I'd prefer the 6.80"

Ok! 4.50 crank . 6.800 rods now I just need some pistons .
A460 domes 4.440ish bore.
