shaft-rockers
you can understand if u break a shaft-rocker if u break something in the motor, but in both of my motors I run WW shaft-rockers and not once but twice this year I have broke a shaft-rocker completely into. I spend good money for these but im gonna b replaceing these this winter with another brand cause these seem to be junk. I have had a lot of small issues with the bearings in them but when u break them into and u see that both of them was bad castings. so time to look into another brand cause these are junk

I would look for other problems. I like T&Ds, but WWs are a quality piece. If you don't find something, send them in and let WillieFred check them out.

They seemed to work good on 289s and 327s. Haven't seen many on pro engines though.richter69 wrote:stud mount crowers for the win.......

Seem to work pretty dang good on more than a handful of A headed 598/605's that I know of. Mine is one of them.Curt wrote:They seemed to work good on 289s and 327s. Haven't seen many on pro engines though.richter69 wrote:stud mount crowers for the win.......
If Crower would make a set of shaft rockers with SS rocker bodies I would be first in line just fit ease of checking and adjustment. They make them for brand x but none for A heads.

He looked at the one I had break when he was at Bowling Green . He said it was flaw in the casting that caused it.They're pretty pricey to be coming apart!Curt wrote:I would look for other problems. Of all the busted stuff at Drag Week last year, the only broken rocker arms I know of were shaft rockers.

Re: shaft-rockers
Are the WW parts being discussed a casting or billet? I thought (for what it's worth) WW's stuff started life from a billet process. Then again, what the fkkk do I know!56Tbird wrote:He looked at the one I had break when he was at Bowling Green .
