1979 Ford F150 2WD with 460 BBF

I told a guy I know that owns a mechanic/tire shop in my town that I will post up his truck that he wants to sell. It's a 1979 Ford F150 2WD with a 460 engine and c6 transmission. It needs a paint job. It's a long wheel based. I have drove it before and it changes gears good and is a good runner (trust me). It has some power behind it! The interior looks good. It has a brand new brake job and also has some new tires and rims. I will post pictures tomorrow and his phone number.

He wants $1500 for it.

Why does he want to sell it for that low then?
He has a new model diesel truck he is working on that he is going to drive and the 1979 Ford is just sitting and he is having to pay insurance on it and would like to get it out the way and put the money on his new truck.
