That bunch comes to the local track in WVA. a couple times a year. Lots of the members have some fast fords.

Tom in the 55 runs a Jerico dr4 he did run a nash. Most run G-force and Jerico's, a lot of folks are switching to 5speed Liberty's. Tod Fox in the Corvette still runs a Nash and his car runs 5.70's. Some use the clutch and some don't. There is nothing like dropping the clutch and running threw the gears. Steve

I guess the days of Toploaders, Muncies and T10's with cut synchros are gone. In those days a Hurst Competition Plus shifter was the way to fly...and bust stuff.

Close friend still uses a top loader, iron head Cleveland...5.70's 1/8 9.0's @ 150ish.....toploader lives no problem with correct guts and proper maintenance
