EX-Military Free Food
On Nov.11th Applebees will serve free food to current and ex military. Will have a choice from six menu items. Must show of military papers or ID. card [b]--Fastfrog

Bill I agree it is a nice gesture, but the food is not that good at all from what I have eaten from there....

The offer is cool, but both times I have been to the one here in Norman the food sucked and the service was worse...might be this paticular store...............

I've been to several here in NE and a few other states, and have found the food to be quite good, so I'd say you got a bad store there.
Happy to hear they are making this gesture for our vets and current military personell.

I agree, the one I frequent in Sioux City has great service and food.

If you eat at the bar the service is always better... At least it seems that way after a few beers!

Well aleast Applebes and Golden Coral are the only "TWO" who is doing somethings for the Vet's and present military. No one else has step up to plate ( McD's,Burger King Wendys,Hardees, Shoneys, Red Lobster,KFC,Bogangles,T.Bell,Sonics,Cracker Barrel,Arby's and list goes on)--- Now come Wally World,K=Mart, Sears,ESSO,Gulf,BP,Kangroo,Shell, -----Hell just help the veterns and especialy disable vets--military familys. Well fellows weclome back and "MAY BLESS". Vietnam Vet. 69-70 from Phn Rang to Da Nang--554th Red Horse combact Engineers now on 60% disable. Milk and Oreo's for everyone Heeeee. --Fastfrog[b]

Cool.. The store by me rocks! Good service and for the most part on the weekends you have to wait a lil to be seated because the place is full..

Yep NO compliants here either ! The one over the Mountain in Roanoke has Great food ! I have even called in for there take out and it was also good... But Hell when your a GI and used to eating crap out of the Mess.....anything taste better !!
