I'm in Yuma, Az right now
Had to catch a fight yesterday from Detroit to San Diego on a last minute decision. Here for work. Checking out one of our proto-type engines that took a turn for the worst at the GM proving grounds in Yuma.
Had to rent a car at San Diego airport and drive to Yuma. The scenery from San Diego to Yuma was awesome. Furthest west I've ever been was Sayre, Ok when I lived in OKC. Not sure how long I'll be here, possibly til Saturday. Then I'll drive to Phoenix and catch a flight back to Detroit.
So if there are any BBF Brothers out here give me a hollar and maybe we can meet up .
Lovin the weather

Yeah, I have it and the remake.
On a side note, a ton of movies have been fimled out here in this part of the SW lately. Wild Hogs was almost entirely shot in NM. The scene where they are riding and the bird hits travolta in the face is a mile from my home on a stretch of mesa where I test and tune my '69 weekly. We also frequent Madrid, NM about 20 miles away. A general store in Young Guns is actually a house a few miles from mine here in Cerrillos. Terminator 4 was actually shot all around the Albuquerque Dragway (the scenes with the huge robot tearing up the resistance that then formed 2 cycle bots) and the bridge is over the Rio Grande Gorge out here. Same bridge in Natural Born Killers where they got married. The scene in the end of T4 where the resistance fighters storm Skynet is actually a dam out here with big cement tank-trap looking obstacles going up the sides. Employee of the Month was shot at a local Costco's. The CV-22's in Transformers were from our Kirtland AFB and a gentleman I work with was a member of the crew of the Blackout Transformer when it was in H-53 form. A lot of that movie was shot here. Neat to watch a big screen show and recognize local places.
