Oct 4-6 NMRA Ford World Finals -- Bowling Green, KY -- who all is going ?

Less than 4 weeks away.
My favorite race of the year.
Always nice to see some fellow board members there.

I'll have half as many cylinders this year tho.
I'll be there with the maroon '86  2.3 Turbo T-Bird in my avatar.

Looks like a great opportunity to get to get some 1/4 mile testing in before my second record attempt Oct. 19th @ Indy.

I'll be there. Ward as well. Several other friends with us as well. At least 3 race cars maybe more.

I'll still be in Saudi.... Maybe next year.

We were going to go but I think I am going to Biloxi early instead.

Most likely. I'll get set up down there unless I can get lucky and get on the asphalt, but that's not likely. I'm just a lowly bracket racer, time filler, track cleaner, etc. LOL

I'm just a lowly B-2 racer myself.

I was at the NMCA race @ BG in early Aug. last month and on Saturday, all of the track runs were done by 4:30 in the afternoon and the track personnel were leaving to go home by 5:00 pm.
It felt really weird riding around Beech Bend at 6 pm on a Saturday with perfectly clear skies no racing going on. Never have seen Beech Bend look like that.

We are lucky at the NMRA races there that there is a lot of activity going on.
Not as much as the glory days, but it is better than the NMCA races.
