9/11
This is not meant to be a political thread, but hopefully everyone out there will take a moment today and remember those who perished this day 12 years ago. Never forget... God bless America!

Re: 9/11
I stood on the operations floor, watching the live feed on the news. The young female airmen crying, before the second plane hit the tower.
As terrible as the loss of the civilians and the heroic responders has been at the sites, let us not also forget those that have sacrificed their lives, to enact our vengeance. We have 1000's of vets and families carrying scars that eclipse the damage of 9/11..
It weighs in infamy with Pearl Harbor. The cost, Is also equal to the outlays of WWII, perhaps not in national sacrifice, but well within personal sacrifice. As a nation of TV entertainment, we have short memories for national pride, sacrifice, love of the place that's supposed to keep our families safe.
