Ranchero almost together
I've been plugging away at it and my Ranchero is almost back on the road here! The poor old 400 is out and awaiting autopsy while I finish putting the 460 together. Not sure what I can expect out of this but the build looks a little like this
650 dp
Edelbrock performer intake
D3 heads with 2.19in/1.76ex valves and stud conversion
-Harland sharpe roller rockers
0.030 over cast pistons with "smogger" style dishes
fresh rings and bearings
Mallory unilite dizzy and promaster coil
Crites long tube headers (2" primary, 3.5" collector)
and a cam with a ballpark profile of around .550 lift intake and exhaust.
There weren't any grind numbers on the cam so I can only assume it is a custom ordered piece. Just gotta finish assembly of the accessories and get the dizzy dropped. Hope that right rear tire can hold up to this much torque, lol.
