launching with a C6 question?

how would a C6 hold up with foot brake launch in 2nd gear behind a ~850hp mondo torque 557? looking for a way to calm down launch , that much power/torque can be pretty violent with a 3 speed starting in 1st. This is all hypothetical on my end for now, just looking for a way to avoid going glide once I get the engine ready to go.

Put a really tall rear gear in it and only use first and second gear. Final ratios look about the same as a glide w lower rear gears...
I was gonna try it myself but think I may just make the switch to a glide now instead.

If you have a 2 1/2' red alto band with an R servo and 180 psi line pressure , you can leave with 1200 hp and it will live if you watch your trans oil temp

Not being bull headed, just like to use parts I have around. If I go glide, I'll need everything, but I probably will go that direction when it's all said and done.

gotta make the swap sometime, mightas well get it out of the way now lol
