Did I get a good deal?
I think I did. I posted earlier that I had access to a complete 460 with a C6 transmission from a 1969 Lincoln. It was pulled from a running/driving car ~15 years ago and set in the corner of the guys garage for a "future" project that never materialized. As it was described to me, I agreed to the $350 price tag, although I was originally only looking for a good rebuildable block to put a stroker kit in, aluminum heads & intake etc.... I went to pick it up today and it was as described, and I was very pleased to see it has a D0VE-A block. It also has D0VE-C heads, D0VE-9425-B intake, D0VF-C Autolite 4 barrel carb, factory pulleys, factory water pump and timing cover. It does not appear to ever have been apart, rolls over fairly easy with a breaker bar. Was it a bargain?
Also, there is a number stamped in the block, drivers side back below the head, can anyone decipher it fr me? 0Y818193

Just that block is worth double what you gave for the whole. Nice score!!
