New guy from Vancouver

Hi all, I've got a 1957 Ford Custom with a warmed over 69 460, auto, 3.70 locker. I'm waiting on pistons for a 502 Scat stroker kit that I'm putting together over the winter, and winter is definitely here (28 degrees).

I also have a # match Boss 429 Mustang that sits parked most of the time. The older I get the more paranoid I get driving it with all the hopeless drivers around here.

nice BOSS, I used to own KK1713. Sure wish I had it now. The original owner of mine had Holmon & Moody build the engine. Only had 17k miles on the car when I sold it.

That is my dream car a black on black boss 429!!

I'm diggin' that sleeper '57.   For you old guys, it reminds me of something Broderick Crawford would drive (Highway Patrol).

Originally it was Grabber Orange. KK2516 sold out of West coast Ford in Mapleridge, B.C.

The 57 came from Roseburg, Oregon, originally from Pleasanton, Calif. It came with 272 y-block, ford-o-matic trans. If would have come with 312 I would have probably left it and hot rodded the Y. Being it was a 272 I don't think I'm ruining a piece of history or anything.

Having driven both the old Boss would still knock the socks off the 57 in a race.
