Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
Okay guys, this is what I have made arrangements for. On Thursday evening Dec. 12 at 5:45 we will gather at the Ray Skillman Classic Car Museum in Greenwood IN on Hwy 31 south. Here is a link; http://rayskillmanclassiccars.com/
We get to socialize, mix and mingle while looking over their fine collection of muscle cars. Lot's of Fords too! They are staying open after hours just for us, and I've explained that we'll be coming out after the PRI show closes. Then around 7:45 - 8:00 we go down the road about four miles and eat at a Texas Roadhouse. I'm working on the group seating thing now.

Re: Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
Hey guys,
I hope we all turn out for this. I really appreciate Keith and Mike's support as they have posted they will be there. I have talked to Larry Morgan and he is going to do everything he can to be there. Same with Cliff Moore and Jon Kaase. I think we should take advantage of this opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow Ford racers.
Additionally, the muscle cars in Ray's collection are fabulous and are a real history lesson in themselves.
Thanks,
Charlie Evans

Re: Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
I'm not going to be able to pull off a Winter Tech Seminar this year, Rick.
So this is just something different because many of us are going to Indy for the PRI show and then the subject of getting together for lunch or supper came up. It's a supper get together, but we are meeting at Ray's musclecar museum for a visit before we go eat. Ray Skillman is originally from Owensboro KY and I've known him for 40 years.

Re: Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
Just though a reminder may be in order.
Charlie's invitation to visit Skillman's museum after the PRI show winds down Thursday night. Skillman's collection of muscle cars is second to none, all makes and models. They have agreed to keep the doors open after business hours and honor Charlie's request. Charlie has twisted a few arms to make this happen so let's spread the word among our muscle car buddies and provide a presence at Skillman's and keep Charlie on good terms with the people who offer these opportunities with the help of Charlie.
Dave.

We're here. Eight of us gathered for supper at Joe's Crab Shack in Southport. Schmitt and the gang from Nebraska have started partying, and I've already grabbed a piston and threatened to shoot Livermore Dave right between the eyes. So,,,,,,,everything is normal as usual. Lol

That place was absolutely amazing. What a collection of all brands of cars. 7 Super Cobra factory race cars. Shelby Mustangs, T-birds, etc. Old open wheeled race cars, bikes, motorcycles, etc. This was worth every mile of the trip. I will get the pics downloaded this weekend and posted up. A big thanks to Uncle Charlie for doing this for us.

Re: Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
You are welcome guys, and I thank you for the compliments. However the real thanks goes to Ray Skillman and his employees, for allowing us to come after hours. It was good to see Ray and I am glad all of you got to meet him while we were there. An added bonus was to see his race cars and the race car shop.

Re: Band of Brothers, PRI supper plans
It was a great time. The PRI show is always an educational trip, it will quickly put your brain into information overload! To all the guys and gals that banded together Thursday night, thank you it offered a wonderful social get together!
Keith, your booth was neat and displayed well with neat display ideas! I enjoyed meeting and talking with Ted and Mr. Barnett. When I seen Mike it brought many memories from the inaugural Winter Tech Seminar at Wes' and of course I could not resist from ragging Mike a bit. Bob and I spent all day Thursday in and out of seminars and on Machinery Row until security forced Bob, Lance, Keith Craft and myself out the back door! I must say when arriving at Skillman's my eyes were the size of silver dollars! Not one but two current Cobra Jet Mustangs available for detailed viewing. Then a short walk through the shop door to the museum .... .... cars, cars, cars everywhere! Muscle cars of all makes and models, many of which trigger the automotive days of my past, wow! The facility, second to none. Thank you Mr. Skillman.
Bob and I finished the PRI at closing time Friday and headed South. A great time for sure. Last but not least and since I owe Charlie money, thanks Charlie. You opened doors once again most could not have walked through alone!
Tired and sore,
Dave.

I know how much fun I've always had each and every time I've been w/all you guy's. Wished I could have made the trip. Charlie always goes overboard w/his get togethers. I know I missed a good trip.
