Cool idea. I have a fondness for the old SxS shotguns and that is about the meanest one I've ever seen. Personally though I'm gonna stick with my trusty 1100 LT 20. 5 rounds vs. 2 rounds and I can be loading as I'm moving and always have a shot ready to go.

Wow, that A-12 is a wild deal too!! I wonder why that big man keeps backing up when he shoots it??? Yeah, a bit of kick to that bad boy!!
The 1100 is a great gun. I guess with any gun, you need to practice reloading fast. The cowboy action guys can reload a double pretty quick. Practice practice practice!!

It's a Basic Mossberg 500 Turkey model. Bought it with a 28" vent rib barrel and got the 18.5" for HD. Added the six shell side saddle and notched the forarm to clear it. The sling is from a German WWII rifle.
Initially, I built it up with all the black plastic do-dads, but decided I like the wood stocks and basic bead sights better. Shot that Redbull can with a slug from a free standing position at ~25 yards the day after the Ford vs. Mopar deal with MudbogTom from AZ. Given my urban local, I keep it loaded with military grade 00 buck, but also have a cash of slugs for travel/camping use. Thinking about building up another one with a folding stock for travel, or even jumping through the hoops for a short barrel shotgun. I've had an unhealthy obsession with the Serbu Super Shorty for a while, but a nice 12-14" barrel with a folding stock might work well too.
Here's a pic of the Serbu.

That 500 is a nice looking piece that evidently works real good too!!
The Super Shorty is awesome!! Looks like an 870 chopped down. There would be some MAJOR hoops to jump through here!!!
