h-beam v/s I-beam ?
Ok what's the difference between h-beam and I beam rod

What aspect? Visually, they're ALOT different. Just thumbing around on the net or lookin through a catalog can give you a good idea of the basic differences.

Given that the QUALITY of the rods are in the same league ... one is stronger in one plane, (front to back), and the other is stronger in the other plane, (side to side).

didnt you post already you were using elim block , ported a460 and spraying 400 + of nitrous ...ect if thats the case due to the hp you plan on making . im no engine builder but i would guess the oliver rods are a pretty stout piece by the looks of them

The QUALITY of the SCAT H-Beam rods is not in that same league as the QUALITY of the SCAT I-beam rods.
ONE is FULLY machined and shot-peened to erase any surface flaws in the metal and the other is not.
Rods like the Oliver I-Beam or Crower I-beam are fully machined I-beams the SCAT is not.
