WANTED 1 Pro-Comp 460 head damaged or bare

Looking for one Pro-Comp 460 cylinder head can be damaged or bare for what I am going to use it for.

I figured I would get some smart ass comments when I posted this, so I will let you know why I am doing this;

We are going to dissect one of these heads to see exactly what the limits are with them, when I build my 600" shortblock we are going to make a mold of the combustion chamber of the Pro-Comp heads once we know what if any modifications are going to be done to the CC, we are going to port a pair of the heads and run between 14-16:1 compression a 4.300" stroke and 4.420" bore. The engine will get a modified Weind tunnel ram and run the dominators that are currently on my 528. Then we are going to dyno it.

I plan to post cylinder head flow, dyno sheets... and most the specs of the build. Some info such as cam specs and pictures of the ports on the intake and heads will be considered proprietary and will be kept between Rich and I. We feel this information will be useful to many.

I don't have to post any of this info but I plan on it as long as there are not too many jerks about what I am doing. I will have 95% of the parts to do this build left over once I go bigger so I figured we would do some research and share the results. Once the engine is done and we feel comfortable with the information gained it will be sold as a complete engine carbs to pan.

i think i read in one of the stickies
that with the right parts put in them they are like a aluminum Dove type of head or maybe a little better.

i think the thing is the cost all said and done vs buying tfs streets, p51s or scj . I think Randy Malik sells them as well but he preps them with his components for street rod guys if i recall , maybe he will chime in



Id be interested to see the results .....im sure anything is possible

Spend the time and money on better heads.
