I have the 12 ton Harbor unit. It is great for a home press.
Great for pressing bushings, seals and small bearings.
Of course, you get what you pay for with shop equipment and more expensive units would be nicer and smoother....
Price is right for sure.

I have a 20ton I got from one of those people who stop by with a truck load of tools.I put a $79 air operated jack on it so I don't have to be in front of it when s**t starts to fly. Lol

Like most of us I too have enjoyed good service from a simple jack type press. I installed casters and a woven stainless mesh chain that fastens on the press between the work and myself, just in case! I had more than one job pop and made me shit my pants! I like the "hands on" feel of the manual operation and the ability to keep sight as the process begins to assure alignment. Always wear safety glasses when operating a press, you don't want to put your eye out!

Be careful with those pieces of steel they give you to help hold parts while you press them. They're cast and will shatter easily. Found out while pressing in some wheel studs on a hub one day...
