Builder Inquiry - Lee Day - Opal, VA - ?

Hey fellas - anyone know of a builder by the name of Lee Day in Opal, VA?  Just looking for some feedback and doing some due diligence on local engine builders.  Said he used to work for Carroll at C&C.

Last I heard, Lee was in Warrenton. He's an old Pro Stock racer. Just go to Carroll at C&C and let him build your engine if you want.

That's definitely an option and I have spoken to Mr Carter, but was referred to Lee by the guy doing chassis work on my car and he said he's also familiar with bbf so thought I'd ask.

Another option is George at Maryland Performance Center in Frederick, MD. I've been to their shop also. They build Ford engines for a couple of guys whom I have done their cylinder heads for.

Lee Day builds a lot of the pulling engines for guys that I know & pull with. They are some really good power plants (mostly Chevy) though, but those guys tell me he is a true Ford man that knows his way around a Ford engine. The guys that use him have nothing but good to say about him & these engines he's building these guys are serious pieces. -A

Hey thanks for that input. I know for sure he's a Ford guy, he about talked my ear off on the phone the other day about Fords he's built over the years and stuff he has out there now.
