Question for Fabio Empty Question for Fabio

Post  racnrick March 1st 2014, 4:53 pm

Jon, would you be up to rebuilding an AOD trans sometime this summer, or know someone down that way you would recommend? My son is headed to Ft Sills right now, suppose to report Monday morn.
I didn't have time to rebuild it before he left. He should not be in any hurry to have it done, as we just got his Mustang out of the paint shop Thursday morn before he left, and he has all the trim, convertible top, and the entire interior to put back into it first. The engine/trans is out of the car and in the trailer.
Another question, if you know the area around the base. He will be looking for a place to rent down there next week, he doesn't want to live on base. Looking for a fairly safe area to live, he has 3 kids, is there any areas he should steer clear of when searching for a house?

Thanks,

racnrick

OK, thanks Jon, I'll let him know.
Don't know when I'll get down there, but I'll look you and some of the others up when I do. Knowing his Mom, it will probably be this year yet. He had been stationed in Alaska the last 3 years, and we went up there each year.
Who knows, if Ted still has that Falcon for sale, I might be coming home with a car. Twisted Evil I showed Ted's Falcon to Casey, and he said that, maybe he should take my 572 A-headed engine with him for it. Evil or Very Mad

Casey got to Lawton about 2 hours ago, said it was cold and there was snow, said what the hell, should have stayed in Alaska Laughing

Won't have to worry about Jon scratching his headlights, Casey has one of them thar Dodge Diesels, Rolling Eyes  don't think Fabio works on the likes of them kind.
