Edelbrock victor 460 vacuum? Empty Edelbrock victor 460 vacuum?

So I didn't notice my dominator had no vacuum ports and neither does my 4500 victor manifold. Anybody got a picture of where I could drill and tap the manifold for vacuum? I bought a manifold tree fitting to get vacuum for c6 modulator and fuel press regulator. Also I can't use carb spacer with vacuum port due to clearance.

Thanks in advance!

Look right at the front of the carb at the bottom you will see the brass tee with a rubber line coming back to the drivers side it is my lean out line for alky off the other you can't see it but also has a fitting with the vac line to the trans

Awesome! Thanks for the pics, So I'm guessing it doesn't matter if I drill on the front, the back or the sides of the manifold?

I think my carb has a brass plug where you have that brass tee hooked up.

I agree the back will work I drilled mine with the intake on the truck the reason it is drilled in the front the last pic I removed the plug in the front of the carb. The 2nd pic it has a different intake it is port matched to the heads I forgot to drill it before I put on so I just remove the pug and tap the carb it will be drilled in the rear when it comes off next time for the freshing.

Yea im going to have to drill either in the front or rear because my intake is also on and Dont really want to take it off.

When you drilled with the intake installed did you just remove the carb and pick up the shavings from the inside?

Yes I put some rags in the intake so the shaving would not get down in the intake runners. I use a vacuum to clean the shavings out before I pulled the rags then revacumed the intake before put the carb back on.

I've seen on TV where if you put grease in the flutes of the drill bit, it will catch most of the chips. Then you only have to vacuum up what gets through.

I've done a couple of helicoils on the head of my other car, and always use thick grease on the end of the drill bit but some shavings always gets away
