Today, I see where they found the empty trailer and then the remains of David's stripped race car outside of Atlanta. They stole everything forward of the firewall and the back half including the wheel tubs. They left just the middle of the chassis and the roof.
This guy worked and raced his ass off for years to step up in to a car like this. And it is all gone.
Great racer....now devastated for sure.
I just watched this car race last weekend at SGMP.
This can happen to any of us. Too bad when you can't even park in front of your house.

It was found in the same general area so it has to be local thieves. I'd bet parts will turn up .this mmakes me sick to think about.i'd be in some bad trouble if I found out who it was.

Not worth wasting a bullet, get the rope, it's re-usable. It is sad, this happened to a good guy. Big Barking dogs help, but they are not foolproof either, and it's a pain to take them everywhere. Don't let your guard down, is all I know, and cover your buddies back when you can.
