My dad had one of those, it was the first new car he ever bought. Straight six and three on the tree, needless to say that's the car I learned to drive in. Starting at the age of six, I would shift it for him then graduated to steering it while doing the shifting to finally getting behind the wheel at age 10. I could barely get the clutch pushed in far enough to get it in gear. Boy was mom pissed when her and dad got home and I was in the pasture doing donuts in it.... Cool  Dad was standing behind her cracking up.... Laughing  needless to say that pissed mom off even more. It's still a great conversation moment at family events and I am now 50 Shocked (how did that happen) Thanks for the ride down memory lane, I really enjoyed it
